AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) to get a bucketload of features

According to 52Audio which has got some renders for the supposed AirPods pro (2nd Gen), the TWS will arrive with features like a USB Type-C port, a heart rate monitoring sensor, and a hearing aid function. Apart from that, it will launch with the H1 SoC that has a smart self-adaptive active noise cancellation feature onboard.

The breakdown of the chunk of news received, AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) will get a heart rate monitoring sensor that will track the wearer’s in-ear data and record it. The sensor will also take body temperatures along with the heart rate detection. There’s a hearing aid function that could make using a hearing aid the old way. Having a TWS with a hearing aid function to improve the hearing of those who are impaired can open up a lot of possibilities for Apple. This is because logically, buying a TWS would get you a hearing aid too although that remains to be seen. Further, the earphones are expected to have acoustic characteristics similar to AirPods (3rd Generation). This would mean the upcoming TWS will get spatial audio, audio tracking and sharing, and self-adaptive equalization among other features.

The publication also rendered a good-looking charging case with a USB Type-C port for charging purposes. There’s a speaker slot onboard that will improve its audio when searching for the case using the Find My application. Apple reportedly has improved the TWS ability with the Find My application so finding the earphones would be a bit easier. Furthermore, the renders have chucked away previous reports that the upcoming Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) will get a stemless design. Instead, it has a stem as you can see in the render itself. Note that this information are yet to be confirmed so you will have to take it with a pinch of salt.
