How will the body temperature sensor work?

Security analyst Ming Chi-Kuo first revealed about this body temperature sensor claiming that the company has been working hard to develop an algorithm that will allow users to measure body temperature. However, the latest we hear from Gurman is that the sensor will not work exactly like a thermometer as it will not give a precise reading from the wrist. The watch will only alert if one has a fever. This means it will encourage users to talk to a doctor if their body temperature shows continuous hikes or hikes which are unusual. Apart from this, the Apple Watch 8 Series is not expected to feature any other hardware upgrade. The processor is expected to be similar to the one used on Series 6 and 7. The design of the watch 8 series will mostly remain the same with them having flat edges this time.
