Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro Camera Specs

Both Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will have a 50MP primary Samsung GN1 camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX 386 camera. Pixel 6 Pro will have a rear 48MP Sony IMX 586 telephoto lens. For the front camera, Pixel 6 Pro will have a 12MP selfie snapper while Pixel 6 will supposedly have an 8MP selfie camera. According to a report, both the smartphone in the  Pixel 6 series will support 4K video recording at 60fps on main camera lenses with zoom up to 7x. Lowering the frame rate to 30fps can allow up to 20x zoom, the report said. Pixel 6’s camera is said to have some new features too like a magic-eraser. Editing abilities also seem to be spruced up in the Pixel 6 series this time. Automatic white balance feature to adjust to subject’s skin tone and “face debur” feature to snap multiple photos to help fill in the data when faces get blurred are some of the new additions. Google is also tweaking the selfie light to adjust itself while clicking a picture along with there’s motion blur ability too that can be added after clicking a photo. Autofocus and exposure lock will be rebranded as a Scene lock and ‘Baby mode’ will work by adjusting the camera to shoot when the baby crawls into the frame.

Earlier leaks have already revealed that the Pixel 6 series will run on Android 12 and have a glossy back. Recently, a video of Pixel 6 Pro’s actual look was revealed by M. Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro Price & Availability

Google has already confirmed the Pixel 6 series launch soon in 8 countries where the page for it has gone live. In India though, the Pixel 6 series is expected to be launched sometime in October. Details about pricing and storage variants are still unclear.
