Integrated punch-hole design with battery indicator

The leaked image of new Meizu is touted to be its new flagship, Meizu 17. The front-facing leak shows the phone having a punch-hole display design at the top right corner, with a green ring around the hole. The green ring around is the battery indicator, which shows the phone’s juice at about 80%. There are settings to remove the number indicator, thus realizing the leftover battery just by green circle. It’s cool that Meizu is fitting such tiny details all over, making it seem more inventive. If launched, this flagship goes against the likes of OnePlus, Samsung and other budget-premium smartphones. Until then, we have to wait for the official revelation of specifications to know how potential it could be.

Other specifications

The phone’s said to be carrying the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset and has an X55 modem for 5G capability. Even the leaked renders show the 5G network tag. Further, it’s said to be equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and may come with a triple rear camera setup, aligned vertically. It’ll have the latest versions of Bluetooth (5.1), GPS, NFS, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. This flagship may have 6.7″ AMOLED display with 5000mAh battery, that’s juiced by mCharge fast charging. It’ll be running on Flyme bloatware OS over Android 10 and Adreno 650 GPU. This phone will be unveiled officially in April, as revealed by Meizu. Source: ITHome
