Android 11 For Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 5.3
It’s well known that Pixel handsets from Google are the ones to get the latest Android updates whenever released. This will be followed by Android One phones of other OEMs, and eventually the regular handsets with proprietary bloatware. But, some brands like Samsung and OnePlus goes out of track to push the latest Android updates to their premium handsets, while others wait or forget completely about it. Regarding Android 11, there are only a fair number of OEMs currently working hard to roll this out to their users. Nokia is one of them, as it’s seen the OEM is about to roll out Android 11 update to two of its handsets – Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 5.3. This was spotted through a GeekBench listing with the updated OS and performance scores. This shows the rollout is imminent and could show up with a notification to download Android 11 anytime this month. Lately, Nokia has pushed the Android 11 update to its Nokia 8.3 5G handset, which is a premium one having fine cameras and software experience. While we think it’s harsh that OEMs aren’t caring about the latest updates, it’s good to wait until they test for compatibility, and release without any bugs.
